IONIA. Uncertain. Circa 600-550 BC. Hekte (Electrum, 12 mm, 2.57 g), Phokaic standard. Lion seated to right with his tail curled up over his back; before, two pellets. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. Gulbenkian 724. SNG von Aulock 1776. Very rare. Struck from somewhat worn dies, otherwise, very fine.
